In this beautiful event, we will get HANDS ON!
Created BY women, FOR Women (yup, that’s right, no men allowed). Who? For everyone who identifies as a woman. All ages welcome!
Our aim is to create a safe space for a small group of women, 20-30, to come together and take it from the beginning. Showing how to use saws, drills, but also bigger machines like drop saw and chainsaw. Of course we will talk safety but mostly we will explore the possibilities. We don’t intend to make you professionals, but encourage you to try it all so you get more confidence in your own practical skills.
After a general introduction and trying tools out. You are invited to work both on a personal craft project and a communal project. In this we challenge ourselves to explore our designing skills, crafting skills by using both power and hand tools without losing connection to ourselves and our sisters.
We will share our experiences together, inpiring and helping each other to make sure everyone feels comfortable being around and using tools.
Sounds great yeah?!
Well, there is more!
SINGING sessions,
DANCING workshops
Getting creative with CLAY as a way of building
Discussions and SHARING circles
GAMES
Big PARTY on Saturday.
Beautiful ORGANIC food
Showering in the TADELAKT shower
Having a SAUNA in the cordwood clay house
Of course we want to get serious about the tool thing, but what is life without a little craziness and fun? So, next to our very practical and hands-on part there will be space for connection, both to ourselves and each other. There will be grounding dance workshops, ceremonies, talks and discussion but also ’open space’. Open space is the opportunity for each one of you to co-create the beautiful event with us. You can share your knowledge, skills or lead a silent meditation in the forest. Whatever comes up.
